Daily job duties will consist of arriving at the Water Truck Division at shift change, attending daily meetings to receive orders for your shift (examples include hauling produced water, brine, fresh water, drilling fluids, etc. to service the oilfield), and filling out your paperwork and turning it into dispatch at the end of your shift. It is also important that you are an organized and safety-minded individual who can interact in a positive and professional manner with a wide variety of customers and coworkers.
Moderate walking, standing, climbing, heavy lifting, carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching and ability to do repetitive tasks. Hand and foot coordination: You must coordinate movements of your hands and feet in order to guide very large trucks in tight places. Operation monitoring: ability to read gauges, dials, and other indicators, and adjust them as necessary. Work outside in all weather conditions and around moving objects, vehicles, and machinery with moving parts. Exposure to dampness and humidity, chemicals, exhaust fumes, gasoline and diesel fuel. Must be able to sit for long periods of time up to 2.5 hours and ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion and 25 pounds regularly such as bulky tanker hoses, carrying, pushing, pulling, kneeling, bending, twisting, repetitive wrist and hand movements, hearing, seeing (including depth perception and peripheral vision), able to perform rapid mental coordination and mentally alert for the entire regular shift.
